The Howling

I've always had a thing for wolves. To me they represent the ultimate in wild, untamed freedom as well as the level of base fear they can bring out in the strongest of men, regardless of how well deserved that fear is. What also amazes me about them is their "family" strength, the way they cooperate in everything they do, the way their hierarchy is designed and that they will mate for life, unlike their human counterparts. I feel a kinship with them in a strange way and I've been told that they are very likely my guiding spirit, my totem. This is why I chose to name my photography business after them and it was a simple decision to call my business "Lone" Wolf Photography as I am and continue to stay pretty much a loner. I even have a video I've taken of me and this guy (his name is Marcus by the way and unfortunately he is no longer with us) talking together for several minutes. I get chills when I think of it.
