The next installment in my series, Painting with Light. This is a view of the little town of Lyle, Washington under very threatening but dramatic skies...the last golden rays of late afternoon sun breaking through the Oregon cloud cover to bathe the town and surrounding hillsides in a warm light...perhaps to assure the town that though the weather is angry, it is only temporary and they will remain safe. Taken from Mayer State Park, across I-84 from Rowena, Oregon.
