From out of the shadows, the white death stalks. One of the Polar Bears at the Oregon Zoo pauses at the edge of the shadows, nicely lit by the early morning sunlight.

This picture is amazing. The clarity, focus, detail of this picture is just phenomenal. Once again, I know that place is not easy to photography. So you get props for that. ;D

The sunlight and shadows really add a lot of feeling and emotion to this picture. You really get a chance to see and feel the majestic quality this amazing animal has. The presence he makes is stunning. It's also very soft. And the bear's expression almost looks sad. Or thoughtful maybe. The gentle way the shadow has touched it's face really gives us this feeling of sadness that flows out of the picture.

At the same time the sunlight on his back really adds to the incredible beauty it has. The sunlight bouncing off it's pure white fur echoes the power this animal has.

Gorgeous picture. ^^
