My first attempt at making a "Living Water" image.
*** (In order to see the animation, you have to enlarge this image to full view!)
I took a small series of photos of the same waterfall to get different looks in the flow of the water. Added the first image to Gif Animator and in my editing software, extracted only the water from the remaining images (what a job that was!) and then overlaid these removed waters onto the original image with varying transparencies and created new slides for Gif Animator. My desire was to get the feeling of flowing water, much like those lighted and framed deals you see in stores that look like the water is really flowing.
I'm happy with this first image as a place to start, but I can easily see that I have many refinements to make before I get it right. I'm working on various methods to make it more realistic and I will get it right, sooner or later.
This is a very pretty little falls located on the Eagle Creek trail near Cascade Locks in the Columbia River Gorge and can be found approx. 1/2 the way from the trail head to Punchbowl Falls.

Thank you. Glad you like it, even though I have a long way to go to get it right. Right now, it still looks like slides in an animation. I'm working on ideas to make the water look like it's flowing along it's course.
Awesome work, it is so beautiful!
