Original, full-sized image I used to design a business graphic for a program I found that allows you to make custom headers and footers for Mozilla Firefox [link] ( the one I made from this image [link] and the framed image itself, minus the additional space needed for Firefox [link] ). I think this image of a blossoming Sakura cherry tree in the Japanese Gardens of Portland, Oregon turned out pleasing enough to post as a manipulation.
EDITS: I used a mask on the center portion of the image and desaturated it nearly to black and white. I added a black silhouette of a howling wolf, and painted him to stand out a bit more with highlighted head and chest and boosted remaining color saturation.

Really? I'm so glad you like it so much. It's just something I threw together from an earlier image to be used as a header background in Firefox. Thank you for your compliment...I appreciate it.
Sorry so late in replying....my world has been a bit upside down lately.
Hello! Always good to meet a fellow Portlander. I'm afraid you're wrong though, about where this image was taken. It was actually shot in the Japanese Gardens up in Washington Park, between the Zoo and the Rose Test Gardens up in the West Hills. Have you ever been there? It's an incredible place. If you'd like to see more, look in my "Gardens" folder in my gallery. Maybe I'll run into you up there some time.
Oh, I love Washington Park, I go up there all the time actually, I'm celebrating my birthday there this Tuesday. I look forward to looking at your other photo's, Portland has some beautiful places.
I'm sorry this is so late...the past few months have been a really bad time for me and this last couple of weeks has been even harder. Anyway, happy belated birthday! I hope you had good weather for your celebration in the park.
I agree, Washington Park is quite beautiful, especially in the Spring. Nice views of the city, though they were better when the trees weren't so large as they are now. Hey, you're welcome in my galleries any time...stop in any time you like.
