Irresistable by LoneWolfPhotography Irresistable by LoneWolfPhotography
Close up portrait of a Pygmy Marmoset at the Oregon Zoo. Besides looking so much like a gremlin from the movie, these little guys have the most intriguing eyes I've ever seen and a face that could melt the devil's heart. :D

Yes they are and yes, I hope they do too. Of all the creatures I've ever photographed, they are the ones I'd most like to have if someone told me I could keep one as a "pet". :D

I love cats, I think I can say that cats -all sizes- are my favourites and excepting Rhinoceros and Hippopotamus I like all kinds of animals.
BTW was by your gallery and have promissed myself to have a tour through all the beautiful images you have there. :boogie: :whisper: Means lotsa :+fav:s

:D works for me....I like :+fav:s a lot. :giggle:

So what's wrong with Hippos and Rhinos? I agree, I really like cats too, especially the big cats, but wolves will always be one of my favorites because they are my totem, my guiding spirit if you will. And the raptors....well I just envy them their ability to soar and hunt from the air.

Awww, I love these little guys! I haven't visited the ones at our local zoo for a while now. I think I'm gonna have to put them on my list (of spots in the zoo to visit.) They are really cute as babies. And, of course, this is an excellant portrait. :)

I know, I know. But ours is a HUGE zoo, and these are tucked away in a part of the zoo we don't visit often, the children's zoo. There was a period where we went over there just about every time we went to the zoo. I think it is now near the top of my "spots to visit in the zoo" list, though.

What zoo is your zoo? I'm from Cincinnati originally and we had an awesome zoo there....very very big. Hard to see it all in one day, especially if taking pictures.

We frequent the San Diego Zoo. I suppose you could take it all in in one day, but it would be a heck of a long day. We generally pick two or three animals we want to visit and go accordingly. If we have more time then occasionally we go to the Wild Animal Park and that is always a treat. :)
I spent some time in Cincinnati about 18 years ago. I found it a lovely city, but I wasn't so much into zoos then.

Mmmmm, the San Diego Zoo. There is a trip there in my future...hopefully near future!

Cincinnati is ok I guess...I wasn't really crazy about it...not too much to do there. But I did love the Zoo!

Oh, if you come down here do let us know and maybe we can meet up.

Maybe I liked Cincinnati because I was only there for about 3-4 weeks. To me it seemed green and lovely.

It is pretty, and much like many other cities, they do a lot to make it pretty and people take care of their properties. There just isn't a lot of attractions around. Here, we have mountains, coast, high desert, the Gorge, lots of forests.

He's got to be one of the cutest "full grown" animals there is. Most animals are irresistible when their babies but this one stays that way all it's life. I've never seen one, but can you imagine how cute this little guy is as a newborn?
