This is a really nice shot. Not something you see every day, a bird venturing near spikes.
A major plus point, in my opinion, is that the majority (if not all?) of the spikey material are plants not barbed wire.
The birds pose, just above the start of "WARNING" is perfectly situated.
Now I know you couldn't change this, since its wildlife, but the branch leaning over it kind of seperates the bird from the picture for me. Maybe a little visit to photoshop would be worth it?
The rustiness in this shot though, its just great! The old weathered sign, and the fact that its growing all over it makes it look old and deserted. (It probably is! )
So for another improvement point, I think its not really that sharp. Again, photoshop could fix this to a point. (Filter > Sharpen > Unsharpen Mask - I think )
But overall, really nice shot - there's not much else I can say to be honest!
