Golden sunset on the Oregon Coast north of Yachats sets a Sea Gull aflame as he prepares to take flight.
I have received comments that the border and logo font I used for this image doesn't do it justice and detracts from it's appeal. I take these comments and suggestions seriously, yet at the same time, realize that they are opinions of a few individuals that may or may not reflect the opinions of many more. I'm certain that for all those that don't like my choices, there are those that do. I aim to please, but I let my conscience be my guide. To this end, I am supplying a second versiontargeted to those that don't like this version but I'm keeping this one for those that do.
If a picture's worth a thousand words... I'm talkin' up a storm!

Honestly I love this shot, usually I would say something along the lines of how I would wish to see the entire bird, however I think in this shot, you have an exception to the rule here.
The light is just brilliant, I really love the exposure in this, it has a great sunset softness about it, the detail is VERY nice.
About the only suggestions I have are this---
Change your font in your watermark, that font face is God awful and VERY dated, secondly, kill the border. No one uses colored borders and they give a downright amateur feel to any photography. Go solid white or black, these are the stand-bye's if you must use one. The last thing you want is your framing to compete with the photography, and that certainly is happening here.
Overall a GREAT capture, well taken and well shot. You sho0uld be proud!
Yep, you are the second person to tell me both of these things so I will be changing this image shortly. Thank you for the tips and I take no offense at all. I really appreciate anyone taking their valuable time to be honest with me and offer suggestions on ways for me to improve. Thank you very much.
Thank you Fernando...I'm glad you like it. Seems there are some that don't like my border or my logo font so I'm thinking of changing it, or adding a version without it. Hmmmmmm......
Well... you will never make Greeks and Throians happy together ^_^ So... just be yourself. However, you are on the business... It won't hurt to make another concept of it ^_^
Just like your last president. Some would like to make a peace trade with the islams... and others would like to just explode them. The president did both ^_^
Ok... I didn't want to compare you to your last president. It was just something that I've remembered and now it sounds funny.
