This is a re-edit of one of my images, "Dark Star"

in response to a critique I received from

She made some valid points and I decided I would like to try to improve the image by correcting some things she pointed out. Here, as it is with any image I post, I am not certain I have succeeded in working this image in the best way possible and in this case, may have in fact, only made it worse. I will let you, the viewer, be the judge of that and please feel free to let me know whatever you think about it.

Both images are beautiful, Mark! If I may say, I prefer the first version which is a little darker but reflects the character of the animal.

See, now that's how I feel too. I thought the darker version had a bit more 'drama' or 'mystery' about it.

Do you like this one more than the original? I guess the critique it received was pretty accurate then and I'm so glad I was able to improve the image and do this beautiful cat justice.

the change is subtil so i would have a hard time picking favs since i like both because to me at the end as animal lover always see the animal as the main focus ...
