Yeh, he was and it's a shame really. They've given these guys a pretty large enclosure, but they do a lot of roaming and in wet weather, they tend to still turn much of it to mud. But, Spring is right around the corner and I look forward to getting some more really great shots of them.

I love cheetah's. I have been supporting am African Cheetah Foundation ranch for about 20 years now and have adopted several to support. I take the babies so I can enjoy pictures of them as they grow up.
I guess you don't actually get to see them though? Either way, I respect you for doing this. I wish more people would get that involved...including me.
