Description

Amur Tigers at the Oregon Zoo. Living proof that dynamite comes in small packages as the display of aggression from the smaller of the two tigers makes the larger animal back off.

Very nice capture!

The first thing that caught my eye were the colors- they are so vibrant and the tigers really stand out from the background. The expressions on both their faces are priceless, as well; you took the picture at the perfect time.

I felt, however, that there were a few things that could maybe make the photograph even better. One is the angle, which is one that has been used by many other photographers (with it slightly above the subjects' level). I know this can be tough since it really depends on the viewing areas provided, but if you can, maybe try some new angles just to mix things up. Secondly is that fact that the tigers are slightly out of focus, while the rocks and foliage in the background are sharp. Finally, and more of a nit picky thing, is that I kind of wish either this was zoomed in a bit more or that, if you were going for a full body shot, their tails would be completely visible.

All in all, though, good work! <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/a/a…" width="15" height="15" alt=":aww:" title="Aww" />
