Bald Eagle in flight again, at one of the Bird shows at the Oregon Zoo. What strikes me about this photo is the non-ordinary pose I got to capture. I love the drama and feeling of movement here. Also, I can't look at this photo without seeing him doing some kind of break dancing in the air....maybe moonwalking? :D

Actually, she was coming down on her normal bird show glide to the stage, but for some reason only she knows, she decided that on this day, she didn't want to cooperate and flew, instead, to the peak of the roof above the stage. She just sat up there watching the crowd. Perhaps hoping we'd put on a show for her for a change? It took the staff more than 30 minutes to coax her back down.
